This Is the Life is the debut album by Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, released on July 30, 2007. It was highly successful, knocking Radiohead off the number one slot in the UK albums chart on January 13, 2008,[1] and as of 14 March 2008, over 600,000 copies have been sold in the UK, certifying it 2x Platinum.[2] The album will be released in the U.S. on August 19, 2008.
