Style XP is not an engine for skinning. It uses Mcft integrated into the visual style engine, but it reinforces providing many useful tools. Style XP allows you to import, select, manage and rotational themes, visual styles, wallpaper, the connections, bootscreens, icons, explorer and a bar. Future versions may support sounds, cursors, screensavers, and packets of all the above. How does it work? Instead of lines and gradients, the user interface of XP natively supports the use of skin bitmap controls (a visual style). This is Mcft own innovation. Style XP includes its own visual styles

Zero-Footprint operation
Choose to have Style XP running in the system tray to facilitate management and the selection of new styles, or turn off for Style XP zero footprint operation. No additional memory will be used unless you want to.

Native
Style XP skins are zero footprint, because it uses the same source Visual Style, which is built into Windows XP. Visual Style XP engine load and draw our start button with the exact code used to load and draw the famous green buttons beginning of the original blue, olive green, Silver and skins.

This is done by the completion of a stamp in memory of XP Visual Style Engine. Style XP not to use SetWindowsHookEx, which can significantly slow system performance. Nor does it hook "Appearance" tab on the Display Properties of the property sheet.

During these pixels finer resolution, the display may be greater than 100 dpi. StyleBuilder is designed to develop skins that support the highest DPI so that the resolutions window controls are easier to see.

Since Style XP skins are native source styles, this feature is useful XP in its original form and familiar.
